At Swimfarm we follow a simple but unique programme developed specifically for teaching swimming in flow pools. The four stages of the program are Adaptation, Propulsion, The rolling strokes & The undulating strokes.
For those adults who missed out on the basics as a child. At Swimfarm you will work on initially building confidence in the water starting with simple breath control practises through to floating and then moving on to learn propulsion with the leg kicks. Once the skills are mastered we will look to develop the frontcrawl &/or breaststroke.
At Swimfarm we understand and cover all aspects of stroke technique in order to produce relaxed and effective swimming.
Swimfarm believe it is important for children to be confident, independent and safe in the water. Our experience of teaching young children has enabled us to devise an age appropriate programme for babies to prepare them for the transition to more technical swimming lessons.
Swimfarm's tanks are ideal for disabled swimmers or people recovering after an accident or surgery. We have created a private, warm and peaceful environment to assist with learning or aid the recovery process.
